With over 30 fully equipped meeting rooms, accommodating up to 250 people in our largest spaces, you’ll find the ideal event space at Ashridge House. There’s a superbly flexible mix of grand, atmospheric period rooms and contemporary spaces, with a complement of 50 smaller syndicate rooms at your disposal too.
Old Library
On the ground floor of the Main House, the Old Library is a spectacular room. Luxurious ebony and brass bookcases line the room and incorporate a secret door. Beautiful high ceilings, an original fireplace and views of the Italian garden make this a most unique conference room.

Churchill
Situated in the East Wing, Churchill is a smart and stately meeting room – ideal for board meetings or private dining. It’s flooded with natural daylight and looks out to the North side of the house.

Lady Marian Alford
Lady Marian Alford, after whom the room is named, commissioned the remodel of the elaborately decorated drawing room completed in the 19th century. Beautifully restored in 1996, the room is now an impressive conference room with panoramic views of the gardens.

Brindley
The second largest meeting room at Ashridge is an unusual octagonal-shape, which suits all conference style set ups. The Brindley Suite, with its modern facilities, is located off the main quadrangle, just next to the Main House. No pillars, natural daylight, private coffee lounge, limitless learning tech.

Stables
Formally a stables block, these three meeting rooms feature floor to ceiling aspects of the Monks Barn dry gardens. Furnished with formal boardroom tables as well as comfortable chairs, these meeting rooms are each ideal for up to 10 delegates.

Fairhaven
The largest of the meeting rooms at Ashridge, Fairhaven was built as a modern extension to the original stables, which were designed in 1817 and remain protected for visitors to enjoy today. Fairhaven is a large purpose built meeting room, which can be separated by a dividing partition. No pillars, natural daylight, private coffee lounge, fully equipped AV.

Boardroom
Recently renovated, the boardroom sits near the main entrance of the house and is furnished with a classic late Victorian oak table and chairs. Perfect for a round table discussion, or group meetings, the Boardroom is full of light to create an inspiring atmosphere for all guests.

Sitting room
Formally the Duke’s sitting room, this meeting room is situated in the East Wing of the Main House, overlooking the Italian garden. Furnished with a beautiful formal board table, as well as comfortable arm chairs, this meeting room is ideal for up to 8 delegates.

Monks Barn
Built as part of the monastic site in the 14th century and extended by James Wyatt in 1821, Monks Barn is one of the oldest buildings on the site. Packed with architectural features, it’s now a light and bright conference space with double height ceilings, modern technology and several syndicate rooms.

Bonar Law
The East wing of the House was originally built in 1822 and was a highly fashionable development in the 19th century. Elegantly decorated, Bonar Law has stunning views over the Italian Gardens to the rear of the house, perfect for board meetings and private dinners.

Ellesmere
Ellesmere has stunning views over the front of the house, initially furnished as exquisite private apartments for the Duke and Duchess of the day, each respective room was complete with its own personal character and décor.

Orangery
The Orangery, as the name would suggest, was originally a purpose-built glass roofed extension to the original house where orange and lemon plants were grown. Today it is a large, light filled self-contained meeting space complete with five additional syndicate rooms and private coffee lounge.

Queen Victoria

Red Lodge

Angus
Angus Building was established as a modern meeting facility and bedroom complex in 2001. Located at the edge of the National Trust boundary, one can often see deer grazing just a stone’s throw from the meeting and syndicate rooms.
