Explore our Gardens
A delightful day out for friends and family. The tickets include access to our beautiful private gardens so you can take a walk about the grounds after enjoying your tasty treats in the magnificent Ashridge House.
Humphry Repton, the greatest landscape gardener of his day, was commissioned to design the formal gardens, and they remain intact today as the finest surviving example of his work.
Our Menu
Indulge in a perfectly prepared selection of traditional British treats. Our menu changes seasonally, and has previously included finger sandwiches, warm scones prepared by our Head Pastry Chef and team served with strawberry conserve, and Cornish clotted cream, and of course, delicate pastries like chocolate hazelnut gateau, white chocolate and yuzu macaroon, strawberry and dark chocolate macaroon, & coconut and cherry pebble.
A Historic Setting
Hosted in one of our restored heritage rooms, afternoon tea has never been more grand. As the largest room in Ashridge House, Repton Hall has played host to many different events such as, galas, balls, award ceremonies, banquets and weddings.
The Lady Marian Alford room was originally used as a drawing room, and boasts fluted columns of rose serpentine marble, marble fireplaces and an elaborate ceiling richly decorated in gold leaf.
